Aptrinsic Successfully Completes SOC 2 Type I Certificate

SOC 2 report affirms that Aptrinsic’s processes and systems meet the recommended guidelines for data protection

SAN MATEO, Calif., January 16, 2019 — Aptrinsic, a Gainsight subsidiary and the company behind the the product-led growth platform, today announced that it has successfully completed the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 examination, conducted by an American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) accredited firm and attesting that Aptrinsic’s processes and systems meet the recommended guidelines for data protection.

The Aptrinsic by Gainsight™ Product-led Growth Platform enables SaaS businesses to acquire, onboard and grow customers by delivering personalized product experiences based on in-product behaviors. The SOC 2 report provides independent validation that SaaS providers like Aptrinsic meet high standards and guidelines for data security, confidentiality and availability.

According to the AICPA, SOC 2 reports are intended to meet the needs of a broad range of users that need detailed information and assurance about the controls at a service organization relevant to security, availability, and processing integrity of the systems the service organization uses to process users’ data and the confidentiality and privacy of the information processed by these systems.

Aptrinsic plans to complete SOC 2 Type II examination in March.
